General visiting hours at Newton Medical Center are 11:00am to 8:00pm daily. We also support a patient-centered, 24-hour 7-days-a-week open visitation philosophy, which allows visitation outside the general visiting hours. Some exceptions do apply, as noted below, so please speak with the nursing staff on the specific unit you plan to visit to get the most up-to-date information.
- Parents of the newborn are admitted at all times.
- Other visitors are permitted to visit from 11:00am to 8:00pm.
- Non-siblings under the age of 12 are not permitted.
Visitors are permitted Monday through Friday, 6:00 to 8:00pm or by special arrangement.
