Wait times represent the average estimated length of time from registration to being assigned a "first provider" (a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant). Times displayed for Atlantic Health Systems are:

  • Reported as an average of wait times for the previous 2 hours of patients that have presented to the emergency department and have been seen by a provider
  • Refreshed at least every 15 minutes

Many circumstances can affect wait times - for example, patients arriving by ambulance or with life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Patients with severe conditions will be seen before those with less-serious problems or ailments. These times are provided for informational purposes only and cannot be guaranteed upon arrival.

Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine - Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Fellowship

We are an ACGME accredited program. We anticipate obtaining osteopathic recognition in the near future.

Morristown Medical Center’s Plus One Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine – Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Fellowship Program comprises 12 months of clinical training in osteopathic manipulative medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine (OMM/NMM) in order to prepare trainees for practice in ambulatory as well as acute care settings. Clinical time in the inpatient setting is emphasized to prepare trainees to provide osteopathic care to patients of all acuity levels.

Those accepted into the program will participate in osteopathic clinical research and play a significant teaching role with medical students and residents. At the completion of one year, graduates will be eligible and well prepared to sit for the board-certification examination in OMM/NMM.

Our program is designed to meet and exceed the requirements adopted by the American Academy of Osteopathy (AOA), the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the Guidelines for Plus One residency training of the American Osteopathic Board of NeuroMusculoskeletal Medicine (AOBNMM).
