How to Apply to the Diagnostic Radiology Residency

The Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center accepts applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for PGY-2 positions, with application deadlines set by ERAS. Application acceptance is official on September 1 for the academic year that begins on July 1 of the following year. Application documents sent through ERAS must include:

  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Transcript
  • Dean’s letter
  • USMLE/COMLEX scores
  • Personal statement
  • Completed application

Interviews will be offered from November through January.

Applicants must complete a PGY-1 preliminary/transitional year in an ACGME-accredited program in the United States or as otherwise approved by the American Board of Radiology.  There is no firm cut-off for USMLE or COMLEX scores, but a higher score is, of course, more competitive. The program accepts applications from international medical graduates. However, ECFMG certification is required. This institution accepts the J1 visa only.
