PGY-4 ChiefI completed my undergraduate training at Rutgers University in Newark with a dual bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Biology. After graduating from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017 and completing my internal medicine residency at UMMS-Baystate in Springfield, MA in 2020, I came to Overlook Medical Center this past July to be their PGY-4 chief resident. I came to Overlook because I truly enjoyed meeting everyone at my interview and felt that I would gain great experience while receiving strong mentorship. As a PGY4 chief resident, I coordinate all resident schedules, didactics and board review series. As a junior faculty member, I supervise residents in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and work several weeks on the hospital medicine service. I am involved in several hospital committees including the Critical Care Committee and ImCU Committee. My academic interests include medical education, transitions of care especially between ICU and step-down units and the intersection of cardiology and critical care. My plan is to pursue a fellowship in cardiology and then work in an academic center where I can continue to teach and remain involved with program administration. I love to cook, bake and travel.

PGY-3 Chief
I was raised in South Brunswick, New Jersey and attended medical school at American University of Antigua. I am currently at Overlook Medical Center finishing my third year of internal medicine residency while pursuing a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship. I hope to continue working in an academic center where I will be able to work alongside and teach resident physicians and medical students. I enjoy being part of quality improvement initiatives that provide benefit to clinical outcomes and workflow within the intensive care unit. I chose to come to Overlook Medical Center after having a fantastic interview day experiencing friendly interactions between the residents and administration within the program, with the bonus of being in my home state. Residency at Overlook has given me tremendous experience in the intensive care unit and a broad array of clinical cases. Outside of practicing medicine, I enjoy trail running, hiking, playing the piano, and redecorating my apartment.

PGY-3 ChiefI grew up in the beautiful sunshine state of Florida with my 3 siblings where I majored in Religious Studies and German Studies at Stetson University in DeLand, FL. As part of my major in German, I studied abroad in Freiburg for a year braving the cold in the warmest city of Germany! After college, I continued my education at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia where I earned a Master of Divinity. I again moved back to the warmth and obtained my medical degree in Dominica at Ross University. I am currently at Overlook Medical Center finishing my third year of internal medicine residency while applying for a cardiology fellowship. At Overlook Medical Center, I appreciate the camaraderie amongst the residents and the attendings. I look forward to going to work because of the relationships I have built over the last two years. I am happily married with 4 rambunctious guinea pigs. I look forward to seeing more of the world and the United States in the upcoming future.
