Sheikh M Naeem, MD

Dr. Sheikh Naeem is a specialist in cardiovascular disease with Atlantic Medical Group Lakeland Cardiology. A fellowship-trained cardiologist who is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and echocardiography, Dr. Naeem maintains a broad interest in all aspects of cardiology — with special expertise in adult transthoracic and stress echocardiography. Using a personalized and caring manner to address patients’ individual needs and concerns, Dr. Naeem strives to help patients optimize their cardiac health by providing expert diagnostics, treatments and management of care that leads to improved health. A native of Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Sheikh Naeem immigrated to the United States to pursue his post-graduate training after earning his medical degree from King Edward Medical University, part of the University of Punjab. He completed a residency at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in New Jersey and pursued his fellowship in cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey, an affiliate of Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography. Dr. Naeem is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
