March 15, 2019, Morristown, NJ – Physicians across New Jersey named Atlantic Health System’s medical centers as the top hospitals in the state, as announced today by renowned health care research and information company Castle Connolly.
Morristown Medical Center has, for the second time in a row, been named the top hospital in the state with more than 350 beds and Chilton Medical Center ranked number one for “Top Hospital Overall” with fewer than 350 beds. This is the fourth year in a row Chilton has earned the top spot in the list published today in Jersey’s Best.
Overlook Medical Center ascended to the number two position in the list of more than 350 beds, while Goryeb Children’s Hospital ranked number two and Newton and Hackettstown medical centers came in at four and five in the list of less than 350 beds, to nearly sweep the top five in this category for Atlantic Health.
