About me
Adam D. Wagshul, MD, specializes in a broad range of foot and ankle reconstruction, complex upper and lower extremity trauma, and general orthopedics. Dr. Wagshul has dual fellowship training in trauma and foot and ankle reconstruction surgery.
Dr. Wagshul has practiced with the Orthopedic Group in Morristown, New Jersey since 2009. He also has practiced with Geisinger Medical System in Wilkes – Barre, Pennsylvania, and Atlantic Orthopaedic Associates in Whippany, New Jersey.
Dr. Wagshul says, “In addition to providing the highest standard of care for each of my patients, I educate them about risks and benefits of treatment so that they can partner in decisions about their care.”
A gifted teacher, Dr. Wagshul has been an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedics at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and a clinical instructor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He has delivered local, regional, and national invited presentations in his field. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society.
When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Wagshul enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, fly fishing, cycling and skiing.
