About me
Andrew Chang, MD, PhD, is a fellowship-trained urologist with Garden State Urology, part of Atlantic Medical Group. He has clinical and surgical expertise treating patients with a variety of urologic conditions and specializes in the evaluation and treatment of genitourinary cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, penile and urethral cancer.
Dr. Chang has an extensive research background in the basic and translational sciences with more than 20 peer-reviewed publications; he has presented his work on kidney and prostate cancer at national urology conferences.
After earning his dual medical (MD) and graduate (PhD) degrees from Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY, Dr. Chang completed his urology residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. He then elected to further sub-specialize in urologic oncology and completed a Society of Urologic Oncology-accredited fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Tampa, FL.
Dr. Chang is a Fellow of the Society of Urologic Oncology and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
