- 5.0Nov 25, 2024No delay.
- 5.0Nov 20, 2024Dr. Berger has been my GP for at least 20 yrs.+.
- 5.0Nov 19, 2024Dr. Berger knew right away what was wrong with me and got me on the road to recovery. His 40+ years of experience are invaluable to his patients. Nurse/Assistant Teresa was excellent. Best experience I've had with a nurse/assistant at Blair.
- 5.0Nov 15, 2024I came into this visit at the order of my reproductive endocrinologist because I had had a high blood pressure reading that morning. I did get frustrated because I had trouble reaching the office in the morning - the answering service was still on after 8 and I called back several times trying to reach someone. I then left a message and called back again after 45 or so minutes. When I did get in touch with the office I was told that I could come in a mere hour later, so I did. I was seen almost immediately when I got to the office. The nurse, Dawn, saw me first and thank God for that - I have been dealing with the agony of fertility treatments and she was calming and compassionate. She talked with me about taking care of myself to have the best success with the treatments and she approached the entire situation calmly and with grace and extra care. She checked and rechecked the ECG and talked with me to get my mind off things. She was encouraging and exactly what I needed when I arrived at that office. When I left the office she told me to call her if I needed anything. An emotionally taxing situation was made infinitely better by her care. Dr. Berger was also kind and encouraging. He talked about things I could do to try to relax. He listened to what I had to say. I had explained that my treatments could be delayed due to the situation and he gently let me know that he wanted to do an extra check through bloodwork and labs and that someone from the office would call me as soon as they had information. I emailed my lab results over very early this morning as soon as I had them, and I called to ask if they were received and if Dr. Berger had seen them. The office staff (Laura) informed me that he was out but that she would message other providers to try to get me answers. She listened to me when I told a short version of my story and she reflected back to me the importance of my needs. She was of further assistance with several more panicked phone calls from me throughout the day. While I was on the phone later with my reproductive endocrinology nurse, I received a call and voice message from Dawn, who had called to follow up with me about my labs, and she sent the information needed to me and my other doctor's office. I am just so appreciative of the staff in the office for all of their assistance over the last very emotional 36 hours. They are wonderful.
- 5.0Oct 30, 2024As usual, Dr. Berger was attentive to my needs, offered insightful discussions of my treatment options, and he was collaborative and helpful re: scheduling visits and bloodwork.. To allow for joint review.
