Mayce Haj-Ali, MD

Dr. Haj-Ali is a rheumatologist with Atlantic Medical Group. Board-certified in internal medicine with fellowship training in rheumatology, she diagnoses, treats, and manages patients with a wide array of rheumatic and autoimmune diseases that cause painful conditions of the joints, muscles, bones, and organs throughout the body. Dr. Haj-Ali focuses her practice on alleviating pain caused by rheumatic diseases, providing reassurance to her patients and increasing their functioning so they can live active and healthy lives. In addition, she has collaborated on research designed to gain a better understanding of the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. She is an advocate for diverse patient populations and has a longstanding interest in working to bridge the gap in access to health care to eliminate disparities. As an example, her research has explored response rates in the treatment of lupus nephritis in relation to gender, race, and ethnicity. Dr. Haj-Ali is a global traveler and has volunteered abroad with underserved communities in Morocco and completed global health electives in Thailand and South Africa. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. After earning her degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Haj-Ali completed her residency at George Washington University in Washington, DC and subsequent fellowship at New York University Langone Health. Dr. Haj-Ali is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
