Michelle Stone is an advance practice nurse with Atlantic Medical Group Endocrinology. Michelle provides comprehensive diabetes care by educating patients about their diagnosis, laboratory values, and lifestyle modifications. Her educational sessions cover topics including insulin administration, medications, meal planning, and how to use a glucometer to monitor blood sugar. As a nurse practitioner, Michelle conducts a thorough assessment of an individual’s lifestyle, goals of care and diabetes control. She initiates medications – both oral and injectables – and treats complications caused by diabetes. Other services Michelle provides include reviewing blood sugar logs, continuous glucose monitoring, and point of care HbA1c testing. As part of the patient’s care team, Michelle collaborates and communicates with the patient’s primary care provider throughout the process of helping the patients manage their diabetes. Michele is a board-certified adult-gerontological nurse practitioner. She received her post graduate training from Hunter College in New York after earning her nursing degree from Binghamton University School of Nursing.

- 5.0Dec 29, 2025I see Michelle Stone every 3 months for my type 2 diabetes. She is knowledgeable about the condition and the related medications. During this visit I was disappointed with my A1c dropping only 0.1. Michelle's response was positive as she reminded me that I am on the right track - A1c trending down, although slowly. She made an adjustment to my medication that will hopefully get my A1c in my desired range. She always takes the time to answer my questions to my satisfaction. The assistant's who bring me into the room are always pleasant and professional.
