Dr. Murphy is recognized as a leader and innovator in the field of Neonatology for his work in quality and patient safety. As the Director of Neonatal Quality and Safety, he tracks patient safety data and outcomes, and he leads multidisciplinary improvement efforts throughout Atlantic Health System. Dr. Murphy is the Associate Director of Neonatology and the Vice Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Goryeb Children’s Hospital. He speaks locally and nationally, publishes in top-tier medical journals, and collaborates on quality and safety projects with neonatology teams from other hospitals and universities. Dr. Murphy is a compassionate physician that puts the needs of our patients and families first and provides significant divisional and departmental leadership.
