And when you combine this green tea powder with yogurt, leafy greens, banana, almonds and a touch of natural sweetener, you’ve made a yummy protein- and fiber-packed energy booster.

Ingredients:
- 2 c. ice cubes
- 1 c. unsweetened almond, coconut or cashew milk
- 4 oz. plain Greek or plant-based yogurt
- 1 c. fresh leafy greens (spinach, kale, etc.)
- 1 small banana, sliced
- 1/8 c. sliced almonds
- 1 Tbsp. matcha green tea powder
- 1-2 tsp. honey or pure maple syrup
Instructions:
- In this order, add ice cubes, almond milk, yogurt, greens, sliced banana, almonds, matcha powder and sweetener to a blender or food processor.
- Cover and blend on medium speed for about 30 seconds. Increase to high speed for 30 to 60 seconds until thick and smooth. Adjust almond milk or ice to reach the desired consistency. Add more sweetener to taste.
