Team-based approach

Sports medicine delivers a coordinated, team-based approach to the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries affecting recreational, amateur, and professional athletes alike. From advanced diagnostics and rehabilitations to preventive care, wellness, and performance enhancement, our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to help you safely return to the activities you love—stronger, healthier, and better prepared for what’s next.

By bringing together a diverse group of specialists, we create personalized care plans designed not only to treat injuries but to optimize recovery and performance.

Performance-focused care for every athlete

Comprehensive care

We offer sports performance physicals, which are all-inclusive exams, utilizing electrocardiograph (EKG) testing, lab work, imaging and evaluation of muscular balances to develop a complete health and training history to guide your treatment plan.

Advanced technology

Most sports injuries do not require surgery, and our sports medicine specialists offer many non-operative and minimally-invasive medical treatments for both musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal injuries. When surgical care is required, our orthopedic specialists provide advanced surgical solutions.

Enhanced performance

We collaborate with physical therapists,  registered dieticians, certified strength and conditioning specialist to ensure proper biomechanics for safe training, improved performance, and reduced injury risk.

3 tests to catch injuries before they catch you

If you struggle with any of the following exercises, book an appointment with our skilled sports medicine team.

1. Ankle mobility

Stand facing a wall with your toes 4 inches away. Try to touch your knee to the wall without lifting your heel. If your heel pops up, your ankle is "blocked".

2. Shoulder health

Reach one arm over your shoulder and the other behind your back. Try to touch your fingers. Significant gap? Your "stiff shoulder" could be a rotator cuff or labrum warning light.

3. Knee tracking

Stand on one leg and perform a shallow squat. If your knee "caves in" toward your big toe, you're at risk for a ligament tear.
