Our Hiring Process

At Atlantic Health System, we honor differences at every level, beginning with our hiring process.

1. Apply

If you find a job that you connect with, click "Apply for this Job."

You will be prompted to create a profile that will contain all of your personal, work and education information.  You will have the option to upload some of this information from LinkedIn, or you may upload a resume and/or a cover letter.

All applications for employment must be submitted through the careers section on the Atlantic Health System website. Resumes that are submitted via mail, fax or email will not be considered.

When am I considered an applicant?

In order to be considered an applicant with Atlantic Health System, your profile must be attached to one of the open positions that appear on our career page, as well as meeting the minimum basic qualifications listed for that job.

To how many positions may I apply?

There is no limit to the amount of positions that you may apply to.

Each job posting for Atlantic Health System will contain the basic qualifications for the position.

If you feel that your experience and qualifications are a match for one of our career opportunities, we encourage you to submit your profile for consideration.

A friend of mine works for Atlantic Health System, may I put their name down as a reference?

Atlantic Health System welcomes referrals for any of our posted career opportunities.

Your friend or relative may submit your referral information (prior to your request to be considered for a particular position) through our Employee Referral Program page located on the Atlantic Health System employee intranet.

I was informed of a job opening by a friend, but I don't see it listed. Can I still apply?

All of the career opportunities with Atlantic Health System that are currently accepting applications are posted in our careers section.

Our job listing is updated several times a week and will display all of the available positions throughout the organization.

2. Submit

Once your application has been successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation message on your screen. Any updates to your application status will be visible through your personal dashboard page under “View the status of jobs you’ve applied to.”

How do I update the information contained in my profile?

To update your information, you will need to log-in to your profile from the careers section. Once in the system, you will be brought to your personal dashboard page where you can update the information contained in your online profile as well as your saved employment application. We strongly encourage you to update your profile whenever there has been a change in your personal or professional information.

What should I do if I forget my username or password?

Your log-in credentials can be reset by selecting the forgot password option. For security purposes, Atlantic Health System does not have access to view or retrieve candidate passwords.

3. Application Review

Our recruiters are always looking at qualified candidates. If you are being considered for a position and will be contacted by a recruiter who will provide additional background on the role, If your experience matches our requirements, you may be asked to come in for an interview.

5. Interview

Our recruiters look to fill our many openings with qualified candidates as soon as possible so that we give our patients the best care.

Interviews can range from one visit to several visits. Some of our supporting roles may move faster than some of the licensed roles. For physicians, this process can take longer based on credentialing and other requirements. However, we are dedicated to working with our candidates to help them throughout this process.

6. Offer

If you are accepted into a role, you will receive an official offer letter from one of our recruiters and agree on a start date.

You will then work closely with a specialist who will provide guidance during your onboarding process to ensure everything goes smoothly.

After successful completion of all pre-employment screening, you will attend orientation on your first day and meet other new team members and learn first had what makes Atlantic Health System a great place to work.

What are the pre-employment screenings and requirements?

You will have to pass a background check and a drug test. You will also need to complete a health and safety questionnaire.You will also need to provide immunization records and complete a health assessment with our occupational health clinicians.

How will I know if a position has been filled, or is still open?

Once a position has been filled, all applicants receive an email notifying them that the position has been filled.
