Dear Families,
In these difficult times, our medical team at Atlantic Medical Group Pediatrics at Florham Park is here for you and your family. We remain open with new policies and adjustments to ensure your safety and well-being.
As we navigate this unchartered time we know it is challenging. Kids want to be kids -- but sometimes fear and uncertainty makes that difficult. In addition to offering virtual visits, we would also like to make you aware of another resource available to you. We are members of the Pediatric Psychiatric Collaborative, a state funded program where Atlantic Health System, in conjunction with other health systems, provides support, evaluations and community referrals for children with mental health and behavioral needs.
Through this program we can guide, refer and help with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression or behavioral concerns. Children may not tell us what is “wrong." Just as we are feeling the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, so are they. Disrupted schedules, missed parties and family events create an uncertain and scary world for our children and teens.
In the coming weeks, current events will evolve and there is hope for new scientific advances. We will be here to help you and your family in innovative ways. Please call the office with questions or to book a virtual visit.
We are Here for You
We understand that you have busy schedules - that's why we offer Saturday and evening hours, not to mention a physician who’s on call 24 hours a day.
