As a tertiary referral center, we frequently receive critically ill patients by air and ground, ensuring they have access to the highest level of specialized cardiac care. Our state-of-the-art catheterization lab is equipped with a dedicated cardiovascular rescue and recovery team, comprised of experts who specialize in the management of the most challenging cardiac patients. Our team employs advanced techniques, including ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and percutaneous mechanical support, to provide life-saving interventions and support for those in critical condition.
In recognition of our commitment to quality care, our catheterization lab has the distinguished honor of being the first in New Jersey to earn Nursing Magnet status. This prestigious designation reflects our dedication to nursing excellence and patient-centered care. Additionally, our Radial Recovery Lounge facilitates same-day discharge for eligible patients, enhancing the overall patient experience and promoting efficient recovery.
