Hackettstown Medical Center Auxiliary

The Auxiliary functions as a volunteer and fundraising support group for the hospital while fulfilling a role as an enjoyable, social activity for its members. Auxiliary members meet monthly to discuss and plan upcoming fundraisers as well as to enjoy refreshments and presentations on topics of general interest such as flower arranging, popular health topics and historical reflections. 

The Auxiliary hosts several fundraisers throughout the year, such as bake sales, book sales and an annual Tricky Tray. The profits from these fundraisers support renovations and expansion projects as well as the purchase of some of the “extras” for the hospital (such as new equipment for patient care, new televisions for patient rooms, therapy equipment, etc.). 

We currently have a membership list of approximately 25, but we’re always looking for new members. All are welcome - the only “qualification” is that you have an interest in the advancement and well-being of Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center. Membership dues for the Auxiliary are $15 per year.

We love to see active Auxiliary members, but your level of involvement is, of course, up to you. The meetings are generally held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and generally last about 90 minutes.

As they are able, members are asked to volunteer their time during the Auxiliary fundraisers. Examples include baking for bake sales, volunteering at the annual Tricky Tray, or occasionally taking a shift at a table to help promote a foundation fundraising event during lunchtime hours.
