Wait times represent the average estimated length of time from registration to being assigned a "first provider" (a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant). Times displayed for Atlantic Health Systems are:

  • Reported as an average of wait times for the previous 2 hours of patients that have presented to the emergency department and have been seen by a provider
  • Refreshed at least every 15 minutes

Many circumstances can affect wait times - for example, patients arriving by ambulance or with life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Patients with severe conditions will be seen before those with less-serious problems or ailments. These times are provided for informational purposes only and cannot be guaranteed upon arrival.

Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center

Since 1980, the Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center has raised nearly $14 million and the Foundation continues to play a vital role in raising funds for new technology and expanded services here at HMC. In fact, with the fast-paced changes to the healthcare industry over the past few years, and with more significant and exciting changes on the horizon, the support of our community will be even more important to our ongoing success. As in the past, the Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center will continue its mission to support this hospital and 100% of any funds our Foundation raises now and in the future will be designated to Hackettstown Medical Center.

Now that Hackettstown Medical Center is a proud member of the Atlantic Health System family of hospitals which also includes Morristown, Newton, Overlook and Chilton Medical Centers and Goryeb Children’s Hospital, area residents will have seamless access to the comprehensive programs and services offered throughout our network. We understand the importance of access to quality medical care for you and your family close to home. That’s why Hackettstown Medical Center will continue to expand the breadth of health care services in your community.

Recognize a Senior

The Hackettstown Area Senior Hall of Fame was established in 1997 to recognize senior citizens in the Northwest New Jersey region who have made a significant impact in the lives of others in the community, primarily through volunteerism.

The Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center and friends will proudly welcome 14 new members to the Hackettstown Area Senior Hall of Fame during their 22nd annual induction luncheon, held at historic David’s Country Inn in Hackettstown, on Tuesday, May 22. Any interested member of the community may attend by completing our registration form.
