Throughout her career in health care administration, Stephanie Schwartz, MA, FACHE, has developed a strong leadership philosophy focused on collaboration, compassion and community.
As president of Chilton Medical Center, Stephanie’s top priority is making Chilton the strongest community hospital possible by focusing on quality and access to the latest advances in health care; and by cultivating an empowered work environment for Chilton’s team of extraordinary professionals.
Stephanie is a strong advocate for local outreach and for honoring the traditions that have made Chilton Medical Center a neighborhood beacon for decades. Chilton Medical Center partners with local groups to best serve all community members, including the most vulnerable populations, and to tackle important issues that impact the health of the community.
During Stephanie’s tenure as president, Chilton Medical Center has earned numerous awards and designations for quality and excellence from organizations such as Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd., The Leapfrog Group and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
Prior to joining Atlantic Health System, Stephanie served as Chief Operating Officer and then as President and CEO of Community Medical Center, Barnabas Health System.
Stephanie Schwartz received her master’s degree in Health Service Administration from George Washington University, completed an administrative residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
