Adonis Cheng, DO, is an osteopathic family medicine physician with Atlantic Medical Group. Board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Association, he sees patients from newborns to seniors and provides comprehensive care throughout the life cycle. Attentive and caring, Dr. Cheng listens to individual concerns and approaches his practice in a positive manner to help patients live healthy lives and prevent illness.
Dr. Cheng earned his degree in osteopathic medicine from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Lynchburg, VA. He completed his residency in family medicine at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ, part of Atlantic Health System, where he received an award for excellence in research.
Dr. Cheng is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

- 4.3Nov 26, 2024My experience was great. Dr. Cheng was very caring and heard out all of my concerns and did his best to refer specialists regarding them. However, although I was able to share all of my concerns I still somehow felt as though Dr. Cheng was rushing. It may be his nature to move fast or maybe it was coffee lol, but I felt that if I was not prepared with writing down my concerns prior, I would not have had the time to recall them off of the top of my head. I appreciate the timeliness of the office but I wish it wasn't at the expense of feeling a bit rushed. Perhaps offer the patients a concerns survey ahead of time or have the doctor go through the list with a patient to make sure the feeling of missed opportunity' doesn't kick in afterwards. I hope this is understandable. I really appreciate Dr. Cheng and his efforts to help me get to the bottom of things. My concern is for others who may not be on top of it all or as quick witted. Overall I think all of us just appreciates someone taking their time with us. I hope this helps.
