Anil Khandelwal, MD

Anil Khandelwal, MD, is a family doctor with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, he has more than 15 years of experience admitting, evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and providing consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illnesses, diseases, injuries, and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, integumentary, nervous, female reproductive, and genitourinary systems. He assesses, stabilizes, and determines the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients, and making sure they are educated about their condition and treatment.

After earning his medical degree from SMS Medical College, Dr. Khandelwal performed a residency in microbiology and immunology at SN Medical College, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, and a residency in family medicine at HMH JFK University Medical Center, Edison, NJ. Prior to joining AMG, he served as an attending physician at VNA Community Health Center, Asbury Park and Redbank, NJ, and Neighborhood Health Center, Plainfield, NJ, and as an assistant professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
