Anjali N Patel, DO

Dr. Anjali Patel is a fellowship-trained cognitive neurologist at the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute at Overlook Medical Center. Board-certified in psychiatry and neurology, she provides adult inpatient and outpatient general neurological care. She is a member of the Atlantic Medical Group Memory and Cognitive Disorders Center. After earning her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Dr. Patel completed a neurology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine. At Drexel, she served as chief resident in her final year. She subsequently completed a fellowship in geriatric neurology and neurobehavioral disorders at Columbia University Medical Center. She holds an academic appointment at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Patel has been instrumental in developing the memory and cognitive program at Overlook Medical Center into a center of excellence in neurocognitive disease. She is committed to providing quality care and support to both patients and caregivers. She has established educational symposia on memory loss and dementia for the community, patients and caregivers. She also has a strong interest in clinical trials related to memory loss and has presented her research nationally and internationally. Dr. Patel maintains professional memberships in the American Academy of Neurology and International Society to Advance Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment. She is a member of the Atlantic Medical Group and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
