About me
Ari Young, MD, is an Atlantic Medical Group gastroenterologist specializing in diseases and disorders of the liver, pancreas, and digestive system. Board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he completed a fellowship in digestive and liver diseases.
With his well-rounded training, including extensive experience in endoscopy, Dr. Young provides diagnosis, treatment, and care for patients in all aspects of general gastroenterology and hepatology. He takes a humanistic approach in developing an individualized treatment plan to help patients lead active and healthy lives while coping with their conditions and employs the latest diagnostic tools and scientific advances to provide optimal care. Dr. Young has collaborated on scientific research in his field to generate new knowledge and improve patient care. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
After earning his degree from Saint Georges University School of Medicine, Dr. Young completed his residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, NY. He pursued a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology from the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, NY, where he gained outstanding subspecialty training and experience in patient management. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
