Bokran Won, MD

Bokran Won, MD, is the medical director of the Atlantic Health Star and Barry Tobias Women’s Health Center at Atlantic Health CentraState Medical Center. She is a fellowship-trained breast radiologist specializing in breast imaging and image-guided breast procedures.

Dr. Won earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Monmouth Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in breast imaging and intervention at Indiana University Hospital.

Dr. Won has extensive experience in the detection, diagnosis and management of breast disease, including breast cancer. Her clinical expertise encompasses screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and minimally invasive breast procedures. She is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and utilizes state-of-the-art breast imaging technology to facilitate accurate and timely diagnosis.

Dr. Won has authored peer-reviewed publications and participated in clinical trials in breast imaging. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Breast Imaging and the Radiological Society of New Jersey.

Dr. Won is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization. As medical director, she is dedicated to advancing breast imaging services and fostering a collaborative approach to patient care among radiologists, referring physicians and the multidisciplinary breast care team.
