About me
Brian Daniel Wernick, MD, is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in surgery and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery, he specializes in angioplasty, peripheral vascular disease, varicose veins, vascular disease, wound care, endovascular surgery, minimally invasive surgery and aortic aneurysm. He is also certified as a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI), which documents the highest standard in vascular ultrasound interpretation.
After earning his medical degree from Lewis Katz School of Medicine, Temple University in Philadelphia, Dr. Wernick performed his residency in general surgery at St. Luke's University Health Network, Bethlehem, PA, where he was named chief surgical resident and received several awards for academic achievement and a hero award from the Trauma Department. He then completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, where he served as chief vascular surgery fellow.
Dr. Wernick has published many times on a variety of surgical topics in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented at national surgical conferences. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
