About me

Christine M. Stahl, MD, is a neurologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Stahl diagnoses and treats patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. She specializes in performing botulinum toxin injections for spasticity (abnormal muscle tightness) and dystonia (involuntary muscle contractions), as well as deep brain stimulation programming (a treatment for movement disorders that applies an electrical current to specific areas of the brain). Recognizing the privilege of helping people live life to the fullest, Dr. Stahl partners with her patients to assist them in achieving their health goals and maximizing their quality of life.

After earning her medical degree from NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Stahl remained in New York to complete a neurology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and a movement disorder fellowship at NYU Langone Health. Prior to joining AMG, Dr. Stahl worked as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and as an attending neurologist in the Department of Neurology at NYU Langone’s Kimmel Pavilion and Tisch Hospital, both in New York City. She has also served as a mentor and curriculum teacher for medical students and neurology residents at Mount Sinai Hospital and NYU Langone Health, as well as the fellowship program director for both the Clinical Movement Disorders Fellowship and Fresco Post-Doctoral Fellowship at NYU. Through lectures, talks and workshops, she has pursued her passion for teaching the next generation of neurologists.

Dedicated to advancing treatments for neurological disorders, Dr. Stahl has conducted research focused on early detection of Parkinson’s disease. She has authored a book chapter and a variety of publications for peer-reviewed medical journals and the International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorders Society. Dr. Stahl is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

I was a nurse in the _____ century, director of a nursing home. I was treated by Dr. Stahl with respect. She took her time and listened to me. Medicine isn't her career, its her vocation!
