About me
Christopher Stryker, MD, FAAP, is a neonatologist with MidAtlantic Neonatology Associates in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Goryeb Children’s Hospital and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Stryker is board-certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been practicing clinical neonatology for over 10 years. His special interests include neonatal lung disease and respiratory physiology, neonatal encephalopathy, and quality improvement.
Dr. Stryker graduated summa cum laude from Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA, and earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society and received the Edward J. Moore Memorial Prize in Pediatrics. He completed residency in pediatrics and fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, Cleveland, OH before joining the faculty at Atlantic Health System.
Dr. Stryker has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and a textbook chapter, delivered numerous presentations at national conferences, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In collaboration with scientists at the Biomedical Research Institute of New Jersey, he is investigating novel therapeutics for lung repair and regeneration in an animal model of neonatal lung disease.
