Claire G Boccia Liang, MD

Claire Boccia Liang, MD, MA, FACC, is a fellowship-trained cardiologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in nuclear cardiology by the Council for Certification in Cardiovascular Imaging, and in comprehensive echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, she has more than 20 years of comprehensive experience as a cardiologist and educator. Dr. Boccia Liang had previously directed the Women’s Heart Program and the Adult Congenital Heart Program at Morristown Medical Center from 2012 to 2023. She now directs the hospital’s Adult Congenital Heart Program and High-Risk Pregnancy Programs.
After earning her medical degree with honors from Weill Medical College/Cornell University in NYC, Dr. Boccia Liang performed her internal medicine residency at New York University Medical Center, also in NYC. She completed a cardiology fellowship at Weill Medical College/Cornell University. Previously, she had also earned a master’s degree in molecular biology from Harvard University Extension School, Cambridge, MA.
An avid educator, Dr. Boccia Liang serves as a clinical instructor in the Morristown Medical Center Cardiology Fellowship Program, and lectures on the topics of congenital heart disease, women and cardiovascular disease, and cardiovascular disease and pregnancy.
Dr. Boccia Liang is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), a member of the American Heart Association, and participates in several committees at Morristown Medical Center, including the Physician Champion Committee, Electronic Medical Record Adoption Committee, Fellowship Selection Committee, and Death Audit Committee. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
