Daniela Castano, MD

Daniela Castano, MD, is a pediatrician specializing in pediatric primary care with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). She is dedicated to using her strong clinical skills to deliver high-quality medical services that meet the unique needs of each individual patient, and is committed to promoting health and wellness to her patients and their families.

Prior to joining AMG, Dr. Castano completed her pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Michigan, where she acquired experience managing patients with complex medical conditions while providing comprehensive and compassionate care. As an educator in the hospital and clinic settings, she has helped train medical students and residents, and has provided workshops to help educate English- and Spanish-speaking patients and families on various health topics. She is committed to actively contributing to initiatives that support the health and vitality of the community she serves and received her global and urban health scholar certificate from Wayne State School of Medicine, also in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Castano has published abstracts in the Journal of American Academy of Pediatrics and the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, has delivered numerous national poster presentations, and is a member of such prominent organizations as the American Academy of Pediatrics: Section on Early Career Physicians and the American Medical Association. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
