David S Youssef, MD

David S. Youssef, MD, is an interventional pain medicine physician, part of Premier Health Associates. He is board- certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients, and making sure they are educated about their condition and treatment. He treats a variety of chronic pain including low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and migraines. Dr. Youssef’s practice uses a wide variety of techniques such as epidural injections, joint injections, neck and back nerve blocks, as well as neuromodulation techniques to block pain.

After earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, OH, Dr. Youssef performed a residency in anesthesiology at Cooper University Health Hospital, Camden, NJ, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in pain medicine, also at Cooper University Health Hospital. Prior to joining Premier Health Associates, he served as a teaching assistant / laboratory and lecture instructor in the chemistry department of The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. He also holds a BA in neuroscience, cum laude with high honors, from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Youssef has authored peer-reviewed publications, delivered numerous national presentations, and is a member of the professional organizations the American Medical Association, American Board of Anesthesiology, New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, Coptic Medical Association of North America, and Building the Next Generation of Academic Physicians. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
