Devi Prasad Botu, MD

Devi Prasad Botu, MD, is an internist and hospitalist clinical informaticist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Botu specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic and acute illnesses in a clinical setting. He focuses on the implementation and optimization of technology to enhance hospital operations. Committed to improving the patient experience, he works at the intersection of medicine and technology to deliver efficient and effective care. 

After earning his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in India, Dr. Botu completed a Master of Science in Health Services Administration degree at Saint Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at East Stroudsburg University, also in Pennsylvania. He completed his internal medicine residency at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in New Jersey.

Dr. Botu has extensive hospitalist experience and has conducted clinical research, authored peer-reviewed publications and given multiple presentations. He has also been at the forefront of exploring new medical technology and systems, serving as a pilot user for information technology updates and Epic enhancements at Overlook Medical Center since 2018. He is an active participant in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s Longitudinal Knowledge Assessment and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization. He is fluent in multiple languages, including English, Telugu and Hindi.
