Dr. Farah Musharbash is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon who treats cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal disorders. He is an expert in minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery, adult and pediatric scoliosis/deformity, as well as robotic and motion-preserving procedures (disc replacements). He completed a combined Orthopedic and Neurosurgery Spine Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS)/Weill Cornell/Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. He finished his Orthopedic Surgery residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, and obtained his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
He treats every patient like family, taking time to understand their goals and explore non-surgical options first. When surgery is the right choice, Dr. Musharbash uses state-of-the-art technology such as robotic navigation and AI-assisted clinical decision-making tools to enhance precision and maximize patient safety.
A passionate researcher, Dr. Musharbash has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters, including new techniques in endoscopic spine surgery. He regularly reviews for leading medical journals and shares his work with peers at national and international conferences.
