Gina Marie Theofanidis, APN

Gina Theofanidis, MSN, APN-C, is an advanced practice nurse at Advanced Gastroenterology Central Region. She was a registered GI nurse for over 20 years prior to graduating from an accredited nurse practitioner program. She is nationally certified as an adult nurse practitioner (APN-C) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Dedicated to competent and dignified care, Gina collaborates with her team to support patients throughout their treatment and recovery. She recognizes the impact of a positive attitude and strives to brighten each patient’s day.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from New Jersey City University in Jersey City, NJ, Dr. Theofanidis worked as a registered nurse specializing in gastroenterology for several medical institutes, including Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ, and Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas in Somerville, NJ.

Dr. Theofanidis received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, becoming an adult gerontology nurse practitioner. Prior to joining Advanced Gastroenterology Central Region, she served five years as an advanced practice nurse for a GI practice in Hillsborough, NJ. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the Society of Gastroenterology and Associates, and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
