Hristos Milonas, MD

Hristos Milonas, MD, is an internist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he admits, evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and provides consultation to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illnesses, diseases, and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, neurologic, and genitourinary systems. He also assesses, stabilizes, and determines the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensuring they are educated about their condition and treatment.

After obtaining his BS in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ, Dr. Milonas earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. Prior to joining AMG, he served as an internal medicine resident physician at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA, and a mechanical engineer at Longo Electrical-Mechanical Incorporated, Wharton, NJ.

Dr. Milonas has authored a peer-reviewed publication and is a member of the professional organizations Society of Hospital Medicine, American College of Physicians, American Medical Society, Hellenic Medical Society of New York, Overlook Medical Center Opioid Stewardship, and Overlook Medical Center Observation Unit Committee. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
