Jeslin Mattathil, APN

Jeslin Mattathil, MSN, NP-C, is a multilingual nurse practitioner specializing in endocrinology diabetes with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). She coordinates with physicians, specialists, nutritionists, and other medical staff to develop treatment plans for diabetes, provides patient education on lifestyle changes for preventing and treating diabetes, prescribes new or repeat diabetes-related medication, initiates and advises insulin titration, assesses Hgb A1C levels, monitors blood glucose logs, evaluates medication dosages and adherence, and assesses foot care and nutrition. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients, and making sure they are educated about their condition and treatment.

Jeslin obtained her Associate of Health Sciences from American International College of Arts and Sciences - St. John, Antigua, and Associate of Science in Nursing from Unitek College, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governor’s University and Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner from United States University, where she graduated with distinction. Prior to joining AMG, she served as a primary care and dermatology nurse practitioner at Bethany Medical Clinic, New York, NY, mother and baby nurse at JFK Medical Center, Edison, NJ, and St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Stockton, CA, where she also served as a medical/surgical/orthopedic-telemetry nurse and Obstetrics Acute nurse, temporary employee health nurse at Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Carmichael, CA, and pediatric school nurse at Dignity Health Care System and Acton Supportive Care Services, Sacramento, CA. She is AANP-, BLS-, and ACLS-certified and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
