Jigar Patel, MD

Jigar Patel, MD, is a hospitalist and internist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Patel specializes in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions. He is invested in patient safety and quality improvement and works with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. 

Dr. Patel earned his medical degree at Pramukhswami Medical College in India. He then completed an internal medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. During his residency, he was recognized as the Outstanding Intern of the Year (2011-2012) and as an Outstanding Graduating Resident (2014). 

Dr. Patel is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine. He currently serves on the Medical Care Review Committee for Overlook Medical Center and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
