Dr. Jillian Alderson is a board-certified neurologist who is fellowship-trained in neuromuscular medicine through the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute.
Dr. Alderson received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, where she graduated cum laude and was admitted to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honors society. She also received various awards for leadership, integrity and humanitarianism. She went on to pursue her neurology residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA, serving as chief resident and remaining there for her fellowship in neuromuscular medicine. While in Boston, she pursued her passion for teaching, including facilitating several classes through Harvard Medical School and won awards for residency advocacy. Her research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals and presented at several national conferences.
Dr. Alderson continues to be fascinated by how the nervous system affects behavior and function in all parts of the body, therefore, she sees both general neurology and neuromuscular patients in her practice. She maintains professional memberships to the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

- 5.0Apr 22, 2025The first receptionist was not as helpful. I was directed to the receptionist by the phlebotomist who said that receptionist should be able to help me. This receptionist told me no. After my visit I asked another receptionist and she got me in to do the blood draw. AVISE test that was ordered by another AHS specialist.
