About me
Joseph Lugo, MD, is a family medicine physician with Atlantic Medical Group. Board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, he offers comprehensive care for entire families, from birth to the elder years. Thorough and attentive, Dr. Lugo provides an opportunity for patients to speak about their health concerns in depth and works in partnership with them to instill confidence in the plan of care.
Dr. Lugo earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies, and completed his residency in family medicine and community health at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Rutgers, New Brunswick, NJ, where he served as chief resident. Through various community volunteer experiences and his interest in community health, he is committed to improving access and delivery of quality health care to the underserved.
Dr. Lugo is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Board of Family Medicine, and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
