Joshua A Strauss, MD

Joshua A. Strauss, MD, is a hematologist-oncologist with Advanced Care Oncology and Hematology Associates (ACOHA), part of the Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). He is fellowship-trained and double-board-certified in medical oncology and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has more than 15 years of experience taking care of patients with a variety of malignancies and blood disorders. Dr. Strauss especially takes pride in treating his patients with compassion and going the extra mile to deliver the highest quality of care.

Dr. Strauss strives to incorporate the most up-to-date knowledge in the field with an approach geared to the needs of each individual patient. He maintains clinical interests in gastrointestinal, urologic and gynecologic cancers, as well as leukemia, lymphoma and benign blood disorders. Dr. Strauss joined ACOHA in 2015.

After earning his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, where he graduated with special distinction for research in medical oncology, Dr. Strauss completed his residency in internal medicine at New York University Langone Medical Center. He then completed fellowship training in hematology/oncology at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, also in NYC, where he participated in high-level research and published several peer-reviewed articles in gastrointestinal cancer.

Dr. Strauss has been voted by physician colleagues as a “Top Doctor” in New Jersey Monthly magazine every year since 2020. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology, and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
