About me
Dr. Keith Leibowitz is a fellowship-trained cardiologist with Atlantic Medical Group Lakeland Cardiology. Board-certified in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiology, and cardiovascular disease, Dr. Leibowitz cares for patients with diseases of the heart and blood vessels, providing expert diagnostics, assessment and treatment. He has particular expertise in echocardiography and noninvasive cardiology, as well as interpreting nuclear imaging, stress echocardiograms, carotid studies, and Holter monitor studies. Dedicated to heart health, Dr. Leibowitz approaches each patient with kindness and empathy with the goal of optimizing his/her ability to maintain an active and energetic lifestyle. He is a clinical research investigator, dedicated to advancing noninvasive procedures to detect and treat heart problems. After earning his degree from UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Leibowitz completed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then pursued a fellowship in cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center. Additionally, he has completed training in various aspects of nuclear medicine and has a certificate of competency in nuclear medical education. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Leibowitz is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
