Kory Heiken, MD

Kory Heiken, MD, is a general surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group. She treats a broad range of conditions utilizing minimally invasive and robotic surgery whenever possible. Additionally, she is certified in DaVinci Robotic Surgery.

Dr. Heiken is exceptionally trained in the science of surgery and works with a multi-disciplinary medical team to provide state-of-the-art surgical care. Her primary focus is on benign and malignant disease of the gastrointestinal tract, including appendectomy, gall bladder removal, colon surgery, hernia surgery, anti-reflux surgery and procedures of the stomach and small bowel. She is also focused on lipomas, cysts and other soft tissue lesions and masses.

Deeply committed to her patients, Dr. Heiken listens and answers questions, putting patients and families at ease during, what is an understandably stressful time. Her team provides comprehensive pre-surgery evaluation and surgery preparation for patients, along with an array of post-surgical medical and emotional support.

Dr. Heiken earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed a five-year residency in surgery at Morristown Medical Center, Atlantic Health System, NJ.
