Lauren Kristen Botero, MD

Lauren Botero, MD, is a physician specializing in hematology and oncology with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in oncology and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she treats patients with various cancers and blood disorders. After Dr. Botero obtained her bachelor’s degree in neurobiology and physiology from University of Maryland, College Park, MD, she earned her medical degree from Jefferson-Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. She then performed an internal medicine residency at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Mount Sinai West-Morningside, followed by a hematology and oncology fellowship at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center, New York, NY. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, delivered numerous national and international presentations and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
