Lauren B Rosenthal, MD

Dr. Lauren Rosenthal is board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. Her expertise is in the evaluation and treatment of congenital and acquired heart conditions in children. Working with a team of specialists to provide coordinated, state-of-the art care, Dr. Rosenthal offers young patients and their families individualized treatment plans based on each child’s specific needs and condition. Dr. Rosenthal graduated magna cum laude from the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine where she earned membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Subsequently, she received a master’s degree in public health from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health on a full scholarship. Dr. Rosenthal completed her residency in pediatrics and her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian. During residency, she was nominated for the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Resident Teaching Award. Dr. Rosenthal is interested in clinical outcomes research and has published and presented her work on pediatric endocarditis, among other topics, at national meetings. She has been a physician member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
