Megan Lynn Cathey, APN

Megan Cathey is an advanced practice nurse at Atlantic Health. With more than eight years of health care experience, she is skilled in the full spectrum of supportive care – from health assessment and treatment planning to medication interventions, follow-up and recovery. Her role at Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation builds on her strong nursing background in gynecological oncology, bariatrics and transplant services – as well as nursing leadership.

Megan’s passion focuses on promoting health, managing disease, and providing education and community resources that lead to improved health and longevity. As an independent nurse practitioner at Morristown Medical Center, Megan worked as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver personal and compassionate care to patients with various forms of gynecologic cancers, She also served as a reliable resource for nursing staff and offered extensive knowledge in blood and marrow transplantation, chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.

Megan attended Wagner College in Staten Island, NY, for her nursing degree, where she earned membership in the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society. She went on to pursue her master of science degree in Nursing at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Nursing in Teaneck, NJ.
