Garden State Urology welcomes Dr. Michaella Prasad to their practice. Dr. Prasad is a board-certified urologist with subspecialty certification in pediatric urology. She has practiced urology for more than 11 years, bringing extensive knowledge and skill to patients and families.
Dr. Prasad earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. She completed her urology residency training at the Harvard Program in Urology in Boston, MA, and achieved a two-year fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Lurie's Children's Hospital/Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. Dr. Prasad is excited about the opportunity to join this skilled urology team and to continue to improve the services available to patients and the community.
Areas of focus: Chordee, Circumcision and circumcision revision, Congenital hydronephrosis and anomalies of the kidney, Hypospadias, Inguinal hernia and hydrocele, Kidney stones (nephrolithiasis), Labial adhesions, Meatal stenosis, Multicystic dysplastic kidney, Neurogenic bladder dysfunction, Pediatric Urology, Spina Bifida and spinal cord injured patients, Undescended testis, Ureteropelvic junction obstruction, Urethral prolapse, Urinary tract infections, Varicocele, Vesicoureteral reflux, Voiding dysfunction
