Minal Patel, DO

Minal Vijay Patel, DO, is a neurologist with Atlantic Medical Group. She is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders involving the central and peripheral nervous systems but is particularly interested in headache disorders, including migraine.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and behavioral biology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, Dr. Patel earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. She completed her neurology residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. She then continued her medical training at Medstar-Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where she completed a headache fellowship.

Dr. Patel is a published author on various conditions relating to headaches seen in emergent settings. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society. She is multilingual with proficiency in Gujuarati and limited Hindi.
