About me
Dr. Mitul Patel brings a blend of Southern roots and East Coast experience, having been born in Thomaston, Georgia, and later moving to New Jersey as a young teen. He attended Rutgers University for his undergraduate education and went on to earn his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Since beginning practice in 2021, Dr. Patel has achieved board certification in internal medicine, general cardiology and nuclear cardiology. Known for his approachable manner and patient-centered care, he strives to help each patient feel informed, supported and empowered. When he is not in the clinic, Dr. Patel can be found enjoying time with his wife and family, playing games, staying active outdoors and creating memorable experiences together.

- 5.0Apr 21, 2026I met Dr.Patel at Centre State Hospital while I was a patient and was so impressed with him that I knew I had to change previous cardiologist. It was also a matter if traveling from my home in New Egypt, NJ to Princeton. It was a blessing to meet Dr Patel and inquired if he was taking new patients.
- 5.0Apr 16, 2026I was extremely impressed with Dr. Mitul Patel. He truly listened to my concerns and come up with a plan that was proactive. He was kind, courteous and professional, but still felt easy to talk to about my situation. When the next day I had an issue, he was quick to have an assistant call me back with new medication instructions and told me to call back if I had any problems. While I personally felt bad calling so quickly, the medical assistant assured me it was OK and to feel free to contact her again if issue wasn't resolved - and she sounded sincere, not just like a line customer service says. Already switching my family members to this practice.
