Naeem Rahman, MD

Dr. Naeem Rahman is medical director for Atlantic Medical Group Urology in Union and Somerset County. A board-certified urologist, he treats a broad spectrum of diseases and disorders of the urinary tract, particularly urological cancers, in men and women with the goal of restoring normal function and improving their quality of life. With nearly 20 years of professional experience, Dr Rahman delivers concierge level care to his patients, instilling trust with his surgical and clinical excellence, coupling it with a warm, caring and compassionate approach. He served as chief of Urology and director of Robotic Surgery at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY, overseeing nearly 1,000 robotic and laparoscopic procedures. In addition, he directed an advanced prostate cancer clinic designed to provide the latest treatment options for patients with disease progression. Dedicated to advancing state-of-the-art therapeutics in his field, Dr. Rahman has served as a primary investigator on several clinical trials for bladder and prostate cancer. He is a member of the American Urological Association and the Society of Robotic Surgery. After earning his degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, NC, Dr. Rahman completed residency programs in surgery and urology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. He is an assistant clinical professor at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. Dr. Rahman is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
