About me
Niv Mor, MD is an attending ear, nose and throat surgeon at Overlook Medical Center. He is board-certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and serves as clinical assistant professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center’s department of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. In addition to providing specialty care for conditions of the ear, nose and throat, Dr. Mor has a special interest in treating issues related to airway, voice and swallowing.Dr. Mor graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and studio arts from Brandeis University, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. He then earned his medical degree at SUNY Buffalo, where he graduated with the academic honor of Alpha Omega Alpha and was named ‘most likely to make a contribution to medicine’. Dr. Mor completed his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, and while still in training, Dr. Mor was awarded a research grant from the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Foundation for his work on laryngeal nerve regeneration. Following his residency training. Dr. Mor completed a fellowship in laryngology and neurolaryngology at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital in New York and Weill Cornell Medical Center.Dr. Mor enjoys touching lives around the globe through medical mission trips to Ecuador, Guatemala and Rwanda where he has provided general otolaryngology, head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery to communities in need.

- 5.0Sep 12, 2025This doctor was exceptional. He was so kind and so genuine and so nice. He put me in a relaxed, comfortable state, he assured me of what needed to be done and answered my questions. He was nice and calm and relaxed and he thoroughly looked through my records on the system, and he asked me questions as well. This doctor couldn't have been kinder or more attentive or nicer. He was exceptional and the whole staff were the same caliber. They were exceptional each and everyone that I talked with. I didn't wait long at all. And I just knew from the second I walked in the second that dr Niv Mor walked in that Exam room that I was in very good hands. I chose this doctor because my doctor from Atlantic health recommended him. But this doctor was truly exceptional. I can't say more good things about him. He was calm, relaxed attentive Nice. No arrogance about him whatsoever. And he made sure I knew exactly what our next steps were and are. My trust is in this doctor because of the way he reviewed things and the way he asked questions the way he Took gentle care to examine and then the tests he ordered and quite honestly the calmness about him was kind of the best part. But everything he did was exceptional. He directed me exactly where to go on the way out, where to get my scripts and he didn't just wave his hand. He spoke to me. He told me. He showed me. He pointed he said go right down there and then make a left and she'll take care of you. But it was the way he said it and he made eye contact and he didn't just say go down that way. He said exactly where to go and who to see and what to receive. I can't say enough good things about this whole practice. I'm glad that I'm in your hands. There are a lot of doctors out there. God sent me to some Angels in your practice. I am grateful. And absolutely I will refer friends to this office if they need this kind of doctor. Without a doubt. And I'm not easily impressed. They were exceptional. This was my first visit and I'm grateful that I'm in this doctor's hands and in your practice's hands. That wasn't great English! But I hope I got my point across. Every person in this office was exceptional. I am Grateful. Thank Them All Please.
